Clare Vale Challenge

F1 Outdoor Karting recently hosted a corporate entertainment event at the Aldo Scribante Race Track arranged by Clare and Don Vale along with their sponsors. The day was planned around an endurance race, were teams were chosen to participate, the event consisted of pit stops, drivers changes and the occasional pit stop penalty for driver infringements.

This challenge was taken seriously by the invited guests to achieve the ultimate winning goal, the teams planned their strategy and the competition was tough with the leaders alternating positions until the flag dropped to complete the Le Mans endurance race. The ultimate prize was 3 laps for each competitor from the winning team to experience the ultimate adrenaline rush sitting in a Wesbank Modified V8 Saloon full national race prepared car driven by Clare Vale one of South Africa,s leading lady racing drivers.

Brian Capper - PE Marshals

To reward the Port Elizabeth marshals that assisted with the ladies day on 9 August 2009 at the Algoa Kart & M/Cycle club a Brian Capper vs Marshals fun event was held. After many years of marshaling it was a natural progression from circuit management to driving corporate/fun karts for all of the marshals that participated under the management of Willie Zietsman.

Brian Capper after a few sideways excursions soon got accustomed to four wheels and made he's way from the back of the field to take the lead in some dare devil maneuvers that was expected from the talented stunt and motard, motor cycle racing professional. To take time out of he's busy schedule after winning all three heats during the East London Motard National event the day before to have a fun event with our dedicated team of marshals was appreciated by all.
