Penalties may be imposed by the officials that will require an unscheduled pit stop – The same driver may continue; however, he/she will have to switch off the engine, climb out of the kart and complete a circle around the kart, and then only proceed. The team may assist with the pit stop procedure. The team will be informed of the infringement by the official and it is the team’s responsibility to call the driver in for the unscheduled stop or be excluded from the event (black flagged).
